The Angle Pass
Passing the ball forward at an angle between the opponent's men

The angle pass may seem to be an easy pass to do but it is a complex pass that does require a good amount of practice time in order to do it well. There are times when you may have to deliver a quick pass in order to out maneuver the opponent and the angle pass may be the appropriate pass to do. In this situation, the ball must be hit just right in order to make the lane and then to reach the 3-man. So, to get the ball there accurately, requires a lot of practice.

When doing an angle pass, you basically do it the same way as you might do a wall pass. You can do it with either the ball slightly in front of the man or slightly behind the man. Again, you will want to hit the ball on its side so that the ball will angle off to the side. This type of pass requires a lot practice but when perfected it can be very effective. Again, I highly recommend becoming well informed with the (Rules) of passing before deciding whether or not to follow my advice on how to pass. It should be noted that when doing these types of passes (especially single man passes ), the ball MUST always be in motion (or moving).
